Front Yard in the Afternoon
I painted this near the front door. It's a quick study of light and shadow in the afternoon light. I have a bunch of hardboard (masonite) panels that I coated with a few layers of gesso. Masonite panels are not archival as they tend to warp easily unless the reverse sides are sealed. But they are cheap and ideal for studies like this.

Studio in May
This is my studio building at home. It is May, and there were not so much leaves on the front trees yet.
