Blue Roof

I painted this based on a photo of the landscape I took along the old highway 10 in Washington. I loved the back lighting if the tree line and the old barn with blue roof. Then I added the horses with grass in the foreground.

Hanging Out on the Beach

This painting of duck family is based on my memory of a summer vacation by Lake Chelan, WA.The mother duck was taking these ducklings for a walk on the beach. She sometimes stops and stares at the offshore for a while, Ducklings patiently hangs out by their Mama.

Old Shed and Chickens

This is the final version of a commissioned painting of an old shed. I used palette knife to create the texture of rustic barn wood walls, roof, etc. I also dissaturated the sky color to keep the focus on the shed itself.

 This caterpillar was sitting at the edge of a huge wheat field. It looked as this machine was looking up the sky and admiring spectacular clouds.
