This is another piece of my rooster series. In this scene, Sophie the hen is preening Leo's neck. Leo is very calm and patient while getting preened. I used this particular style of painting to emphasize on the focal point, Sophie's face. And I left the surrounding abstract.
Here's a snapshot of Leo sitting as a model, while I was working on this painting.
