This is another view from the same spot where I painted the windrows in my previous post. It was around noon when I started before my lunch break. The shadow areas on the walls facing the field was increasing rapidly as the sum moved over the roof. If I were to paint this again. I'd eat my lunch, then start painting after the shadow on walls facing the field settle down. Anyway, I like the view of this house better once at least one side is in the shadow otherwise it looks washed out and flat.
