I painted this last Friday at the west side of Ellensburg, WA, where I live. The dandelions were everywhere, and the combination of yellow, white and fresh green were gorgeous in the morning light. The red barn is obviously my center of interest, but I liked the additions of the fence posts as well. After painting the entire scene, I went over some sections with a small pallet knife.
