I tried this composition on the black background a few days ago, but I didn't like how it turned out. So I wiped it off with a palette knife and paper towel. I decided to challenge it again but on the off-white background. I'm happy with how it turned out. I didn't use my regular shadow box for this. Instead I just set up the still life on the table top, and used a desk lamp to light the subject.
