I painted this barn in Pullman, WA, yesterday. When I arrived there in the afternoon, the sun was already so low that while I was in the middle of painting, the barn was mostly in the shade of the hill. I turned on my camera on viewing mode to refer to the photo I took at the beginning of the painting session. And I finished this painting on location.

I'm liking these barns Naomi - Keep 'em coming! I paint quite a few 5"x7", 6"x8" pictures of barns myself. They make a great subject and that size can be completed fairly quickly.
