I usually spend the 4th of July week in Chelan, WA, participating in a hang gliding cross country event. But for the last few years, both my husband and I have been too busy to do that. This duckling is one of many ducks and ducklings we saw by Lake Chelan a few years ago. This painting is a study for a larger painting which is a part of my two-person show at the Clymer Museum of Art in Ellensburg, WA for, July and August.
