I've been taking a lot of reference photos of water birds around Washington for a while, and I've been hoping to do paintings of these birds someday. This week's Daily Paintworks Challenge is about painting reflections on water, and I enjoyed painting this one.

A spontaneous picture and lovely colors for the painting!It's the first time I find an artist who speciliazed in birds!
Wonderful use of color with the spot yellow as a highlight. Love the way you captured the splash of water.
